                            IT & ICT

              In this topic, I learnt about IT & ICT. IT means Information Technology and ICT stands for Information and Communication Technology. The role of ICT plays especially in communication technologies such as internet, cell phones. The concept of ICT can be defined as follows:

                                               IT+ Media Broadcasting = ICT

Nowadays, the rate of using ICT has been increased day by day. So, let me share some fields that ICT is being used in our daily life. They are Healthcare, Science, Government, Education, Banking and Business. For e.g, Projector, ATM machine, Lap top, smart phones, digital cameras, Computers, X-ray machine
and so on.

Information Technology(IT)
              This is the second topic I learnt in this LO-2 . As far as I'm concerned, IT is the application of computers and telecommunication equipments to store, retrieve, tranmit and manipulate data. There are 2 concepts of IT.

• IT architecture- a map or plan of the information assets in an organization.

• IT infrasturcture- phyisical facilitie, IT components, IT services and IT personal that support an entire organization.
  
             Learning the concept of IT& ICT made me realize the deep meaning of these especially IT architecture and IT infrastructure which I have never learnt before. I came to know the application of these concepts of IT; how they are manged to do their funciton, how they can help the information systems of an organization and so on.
