Transaction Processing System records the data from everyday operation throughout every division or department in the organization. Each division or department is connected through the TPS to provide useful information to management level throughout the company.

Decision Support System (DSS)
An organized collection of people, prodedure, software, databases devices used to support problem specific decision making.
Excecutive Support System(ESS)
Executive Support System (ESS) is a reporting tool (software) that allows you to turn your organization's data into useful summarized reports. These reports are generally used by executive level managers for quick access to reports coming from all company levels and departments such as billing, cost accounting , staffing, scheduling, and more.
Expert System (ES)
It is a computer system that emulates the decision making-ability of a human expert. Expert systems are designed to solve complex problems by reasoning about knowledge, like an expert, and not by following the procedure of a developer as is the case in conventional programming.
